At 1:30 p.m. we will travel to Superior Residence to entertain memory care and assisted living residents. Members, watch for an invitation in your email.
A Peace Pole is a hand-crafted monument that displays the message and prayer
MAY PEACE PREVAIL ON EARTH
on each of its four or six sides, in eight different languages.
There are tens of thousands of
Peace Poles in 180 countries all over the world dedicated as monuments to peace. They serve as constant reminders for us to visualize and pray for world peace. Shepherd of the Hills is placing a Peace Pole in our front yard to link with people all over the world who have planted Peace Poles in the same spirit of peace.
Dedication of the pole will occur on Monday, September 18 at 6:30 p.m. Christian, Jewish, and Muslim faiths will participate in the dedication service, which is open to all. Refreshmemts will be served and the entire Clermont and surrounding community is invited to participate.
