
The church is decorated with the signs of the season and is highlighed by our large tree with handmade ornaments.


Each Wednesday in advent we met at 7:00 p.m. to explore one of the following models of faith as we gather for shred meal, family and community sharing, and worship
- God's DNA . . . Our RNA
- Messenger RNA . . . The Story is Revealed
- Transfer RNA . . . The Good News is Spread
- Ribosomal RNA . . . The Ministry of God's People

Each week during Advent we met at 6:00 p.m. (prior to our Advent worship) for an advent dinner. Each week the meal was sponsored by a different organization in the church. The entree was furnished by the group. Members brought pot luck dishes to round out the meals.

On Sunday morning, December 17, during Sunday School, the children attended a birthday party celebrating Jesus' birth. Children brought canned goods and food for the Neighborhood Center as gifts.
