Our Youth Programs
Sunday School

We have Sunday school classes for Pre-K 3 through High School (and adults). Sunday school meets from 9:00 a.m., with an opening in the sanctuary, until 10:00 a.m. Each class is taught by volunteers who offer fun activities and TLC while teaching the children about the word of God.
Youth Groups

D.O.G.S (Depending on God for Support) is for kids ages 5 through 10.
I.C.E. (In Christ Everlasting) is for young people ages 11 through 17.
Our Youth Leaders
ICE -- Kate & Kurt Baumann
D.O.G.S. -- Diane Bursey & Laurie Freshour
The youth groups have different activities where they can interact in a wholesome manner with other children their age. They also participate in intergenerational activities that benefit our church as well as our community.
Children's Chapel

On the first four Sundays of each month the children are excused from the regular worship service during the sermon to attend a service geared for their age. The I.C.E. youth group members lead this worship time through stories, puppets and songs.

Confirmation Class
Confirmation classes are offered on the first and third Sundays of most months at 3:00 p.m. Check the weekly bulletin and newsletter for schedule. Please notify the pastor if you have a child eligible for confirmation.
The theme for our confirmation studies this year is Here We Stand. Our students have access to a website where they can get their lessons, homework, play challenges and games, etc. Click the Here We Stand logo below to get a sample look at the website the confirmation students are using.

Nursery Care
Our Nursery
Nursery is available during both the8:00 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. services. Children aged 12 weeks to 4 years are welcome to come and play with our trained workers. Each worker is required to complete the basic Safe Sitter's course offered through South Lake Hospital, which includes infant and adult CPR.

Alleluia Singers
The Alleluia Singers is open to all youth. The choir performs once a month during the 10:15 a.m. church service, and on special occasions during the 8:00 a.m. service. The choir also performs special programs for Easter and Christmas. Practice is held from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., prior to the start of Sunday school.
Alleluia Ringers

The Alleluia Ringers is open to all youth. Young people acquire basic knowledge of reading music, understanding rhythm and playing songs with hand chimes. The group performs one Sunday a month, before the start of the 10:15 a.m. service, and occasionally at the 8:00 a.m. service. Practice is held each Sunday following the 10:15 a.m. service until 12:30 p.m.
