Our Youth Activities

Listed here are some of our recent youth activities.

Rally Day

Each year Rally Day signifies the beginning of the church Sunday School season and is usually held at the end of August. The theme changes each year -- recent ones include "Aloha Sunday" and a circus theme. Food, games, fun and fellowship mark this exciting and important event.

Easter Egg Hunt

The Easter Egg Hunt is held between Sunday services on Easter Day. Visitors are invited.

Children's Christmas Program

The Children's Christmas program is held each year at the 10:15 service early in December. Each year a new program is offered -- with pagentry and song the children demonstrate their love for the new baby Jesus.

Youth Car Wash

Periodically our youth sponsor fund raising projects such as a car wash.

Overnight Lock In

Our I.C.E. (teen) youth group often sponsors overnight lock ins at the church.

Blessing of the Backpacks

Each year on a Sunday before school begins, the pastor gathers all the children together at worship to bless the beginning of the school year. Children bring their backpacks for blessing.

Paintball, etc.

Our youth groups participate in lots of fun activities -- like Paintball! A recent trip to paintball land was a blast. Other activities have included a trip to Night of Joy at Disney, Halloween ghost stories at an Orlando park, Oktoberfest haunted hours and fun house, and miniature golf. Come join in the fun!!
