Announcing our first annual Summer Bible Day Camp! It will operate each work day from June 9 to August 15 from 7:00 a.m. until 5:55 p.m. at the church. Laurie Freshour will serve as Camp Administrative Director (352-978-4573). Registration is open now, and since demand is expected to be great, it will pay to register early (There is a registration cap for each grade level.)
There is a $25 registration fee per family. A weekly fee of $70 is charged for each camper. (Sorry, but we don't have any family rates or partial week proration.)
Each camper should bring a refillable water bottle, bag lunch and simple snack for every day. Campers must wear protective shoes AT ALL TIMES. Flip-flops or water shoes are acceptable on water days.
Our daily program will consist of music, crafts, games, computers, outdoor challenges, community awareness, choice of electives, and lots of relaxation.
| Every camper will be physically and intellectually engaged! | We will offer many different, exciting and wonderful activities each week. |
| We will have Fun-Fridays, where we may grill hot-dogs and play in the water, or have a lazy ice cream social. | We will focus on community awareness and needs. Campers will be introduced to age appropriate volunteer opportunities within their own community. |
| We will be offering a summer reading challenge where each camper can ern points for a special award at the conclusion of camp. | Campers will be given the opportunity to relax and rewind. |
